Dr. Banjo is a super intelligent orangutan and scientist who knows Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth. He is one of the leaders of the anti-evolution manifestants. He confronts the Professor with Creation, but is later convinced that Evolution may exist, after being set in motion by a powerful alien or a god, that is.

Trivia
- He is possibly modelled after Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes, which was also referenced in "The Late Philip J. Fry".
Quotes
The Professor: As a Professor of Science, I assure you we did in fact evolve from filthy monkey men.
Dr. Banjo: I cannot speak for you, sir. But my ancestors were not monkeys. They were orangutans. Hard working, patriotic orangutans.
Dr. Banjo: Things don't exist simply because you believe in them, thus sayeth the almighty creature in the sky!
