Secondary character Dr. Banjo Gender Male Species Orangutan Planet of origin Probably Earth First appearance "A Clockwork Origin" (6ACV09) Voiced by David Herman Dr. Banjo is a super intelligent orangutan and scientist, and the son of hard working, patriotic people, and wears a brown jacket and a pair of glasses. He apparently knows Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, and is one of the leaders of the anti-evolution manifestants who blocked the Wozniak Nerd Academy in August of 3010. The Doctor confronted the Professor with Creation, but was later convinced that Evolution may be the answer, after having been set in motion by a powerful alien or a god, that is.

- He is possibly modelled after Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes, which was also referenced in "The Late Philip J. Fry".
